Embora o grande vencedor do Brit Awards 2012 foi claramente o dedo médio de Adele, a cantora de "21" e Ed Sheeran sairam com o maior número de prêmios, com dois cada. Coldplay levou para casa "Melhor Grupo Britânico", Bruno Mars marcou "Artista Solo Masculino Internacional", e Lana Del Rey levou o prêmio de "Inovação internacional". Apesar de aceitar o prêmio de "Artista Solo Internacional Feminina", Rihanna agradeceu a todos os seus fãs "que continuam a apoiar ela, não importa o que ... às vezes quando me sinto mal, meus fãs sempre me lembrar que não há problema em ser eu mesma."
